Trust

Mirror is being built carefully.

Not by therapists.

Not by coaches.

And not by a company trying to maximise engagement.

It grew out of one person's attempt to think more clearly during a difficult period.

That experience shaped the principles behind Mirror.

Mirror is currently being developed slowly with a small group of people.

No claims of transformation.

No promises of healing.

No guarantees.

Just an attempt to build something useful.

Mirror is a guided way of using AI as a thinking partner.

Not to replace relationships.

Not to replace therapy.

Not to become another place to live.

The goal isn't more processing.

The goal is returning to life.

Mirror is not therapy.

Mirror is not coaching.

Mirror is not crisis support.

Mirror is not designed to create dependency.

Mirror is not trying to become your best friend.

Mirror is a bridge, not a destination.

People bring difficult things to places like this.

Shame.

Relationships.

Recovery.

Fear.

Grief.

Ordinary struggles.

That creates responsibilities.

Mirror will be built around a simple principle:

Your words belong to you.

Technical details will evolve as the product develops.

But the principles will not.

You should never feel trapped.

You should always be able to leave.

You should always be able to delete your data.

You should always be able to export your conversations.

Privacy is not a feature. It is the foundation.

I don't have all the answers.

I am not an expert in being human.

I'm simply trying to build something I wish had existed when I needed somewhere for thoughts to land.

And I'm trying to do it carefully.
